"…full of rhythmic fascination and haunting melodies" The Observer Blending a unique mix of influences from Jazz, Klezmer, Eastern Europe and beyond, Just East of Jazz have both immense talent and startling originality. Performing with the wisdom and maturity of a band which has years of playing under its belt, their compositions dig deep into these rich musical sources. Drawing on their combined experiences in Jazz clubs, Mecca ballrooms and Klezmer barmitzvah bands, bandleader Jeremy Shoham, bassist Phil Scragg, and Rick Finlay on a scintillating array of world percussion, are joined by dazzling pianist Neil Anguilley.

"…wonderfully atmospheric…an exhilarating evening that flew past, leaving us breathless and dizzy at the end. Excellent." Oxford Times
