Klezmerica, Columbia, MO, Dec 31

The People's Republic of Klezmerica presents an original score to the 1928 silent slapstick comedy "Pass the Gravy", starring the little-remembered Jewish slapstick genius of Max Davidson. The score draws on klezmer melodies, Yiddish swing, and Missouri fiddle music. At the Historic Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia, MO as part of the First Night celebration. Friday, December 31, 8:30pm.
