Adrianne Greenbaum - "FleytMuzik" will present a concert of traditional
klezmer music performed on period instruments at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio,
Warner Concert Hall on November 9 at 8:00pm. With her will be world-renowned
violinist, Cookie Segelstein and master cymbalist Joshua Horowitz, with the
"original" klezmer bassist, Marty Confurious. Adrianne is an internationally
known klezmer flutist who has been a strong pioneer in reviving the flute
tradition in klezmer. There will also be a lecture at noon ("KLEZMER: A look at the
musician and the music through the lens of purpose and community.") in King
101 and a master class at 4:30 in Warner Concert Hall. All events are free.
