WHO: Lori Cahan-Simon sings with Martin Moskow and the Workmen's Circle Klezmer Orchestra, conducted by Norman Tischler.
WHAT: A program of Yiddish folk and theater songs, and the orchestra plays traditional klezmer instrumentals, the party and dance tunes of the Jewish people of Eastern European origin.
WHEN: This Sunday, September 3rd, 2006, from 2 to 4 p.m.
WHERE: The pavilion/gazebo/stage at Legacy Village, right by Club Louie and Stir Crazy.
WHY: WHY NOT? Come and see us have fun this Labor Day weekend, es a bisl, trink a bisl, tants a bisl (Eat a little, drink a little, dance a little)!
The WCKO is the largest ongoing klezmer orchestra in the U.S., possibly the world! If you would like to join us, talk to Norman before or after the show.
