This coming Sunday, at 4 PM, Klezmerica (Joe Vass, Dale Mendenhall, Dave Jensen, Jay Epstein, Chris Bates and Carolyn Boulay) will be performing in concert at the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church at 511 Groveland Avenue in Minneapolis. (There is a suggested but not required donation of $5 at the door.)
This will be your last chance to hear Klezmerica perform in the Twin Cities for awhile. On Saturday, December 15, we'll perform in the Chicago area at Schaumberg's Prairie Center For The Arts. This spring, we plan to resume performing "The Soul Of Gershwin" (known locally as "Gershwin The Klezmer") in various venues around the U.S. (More information on that as it becomes available).
