This series of annual Memorial Concerts was conceived to reflect a passage in the funereal prayer "Eil Male Rachamim" that calls on the mourner to do acts of charity in memory of the departed. In these years they have consisted of a mix of classical, Jewish and other music, and this year will include songs from Victorian St. Louis with Linda Blumenthal, clarinet music with Stanley Topfer, Irish dance with the Simmons family, choir of Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel, and the Meshorerim quartet.
