“They are light years ahead of anyone else in the world doing klezmer in every way.” —The Well

The world-class Argentinean duo César Lerner and Marcelo Moguilevsky of Klezmer en Buenos Aires brings the joy and pathos of Eastern Europe’s most spirited party music to life in an exuberant program that seamlessly blends elements of Argentinean folk music with jazz, contemporary music, and tango. Drawing inspiration from their Jewish heritage, they deliver a highly personal performance, brimming with wild harmonies, lively improvisation, and lightning-fast playing. Marcelo Moguilevsky, clarinet, saxophone, recorders, and vocals; César Lerner, piano, accordion, and percussion.

The Dutch-American Yiddish music quartet is in the middle
of their "Fun Shtetl Tsu Shtetl" all-synagogue tour of Holland.
The response has been overwhelming and the shows are selling out
across the country. Nikitov has been touring in support of their
latest recording "Vanderlust" on Chamsa records both in the US and
Europe. The group concludes the tour at De Waag in Haarlem where
centuries of troubadors performed to prove their skill and talent
and, in more recent history, folk singers like Joan Baez and Simon
and Garfunkel have come to pay homage to the great singers of the
past.
