A biblical scholar, poet, singer, songwriter and violinist, Alicia Jo Rabins has created a chamber-rock operatic song cycle exploring the intersection of spirituality, finance and responsibility. “Kaddish for Bernie Madoff” tackles personal and societal issues with thoughtfulness, wit, sensitivity and beautifully sung melodies.

This solo performance is the California premiere, and features full-length projected animation. It’s directed by Maureen Towey, who helped to develop the earliest incarnation of the show, for which Rabins received a prestigious Six Points Fellowship.

''FADA'' : French-Occitane singer and multi-flutist Eleonore Weill performes modern compositions and original songs by Miqueu Montanaro as well as old traditional famous and forgotten songs of resistance, peace, justice and love. Fada, French slang for "crazy", means literally, "inhabited by fairies."
