Our 12 piece band will be joined by the celebrated Macedonian/Turkish clarinet maestro Ismail Lumanovski flying in from New York to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the Bay's most bumpin' Balkan dance party. Inspector Gadje brings a big sound to the beautiful brass band music of the Balkans - inciting joy and dancing from the first downbeat. Our name is a wink to the 1980's cartoon show "Inspector Gadget," and also to the band's "gadje" (non-Romani) identity and their efforts to breaking "Gypsy" stereotypes.
