Gala Concert celebrating the 36th Anniversary of
the Zamir Chorale of Boston,

The gala program includes the world premiere of "Et HaZamir Higgia" by Yehezkel Braun (in memory of Zamir co-founder Lou Garber), "The Rainbow" for chorus, percussion and electronic tape by Daniel Pinkham, "Harninu" for chorus and trumpet by Cantor Benjie-Ellen Schiller, and "Shir Ahavah" for chorus and jazz trio by Jef Labes. After intermission an expanded-ZCB with alumni from the past 36 years, soloist Cantor Eliot Vogel and orchestra will perform Ernest Bloch's "Sacred Service."
The composers on the first half will present a Meet the Composers panel prior to the concert at 6:15 PM.
