New Orleans benefit, Scarsdale, NY, Oct 23

In conjunction with the Jewish Community Center of Mid Westchester in Scarsdale, NY, I am excited to announce that on Sunday October 23rd from 2 till 6 in the afternoon, the Sukkah Jam for New Orleans will take place.

So far, a number of individuals have stepped forward to donate their time, talent and money. This includes many musicians as well as organizations like WWOZ - (one of the greatest radio stations on the planet broadcasting live on the internet at www.wwoz.org) - The Backbeat Fund (see below) plus a variety of sponsors.

Please join us any way you can. If you are a musician and would like to perform contact or If you would like to get involved in any way, please email Glenn Tamir

We are working with WWOZ to see if we can broadcast this live over the net and we will be creating a DVD and CD, the proceeds of which will also go towards the Backbeat Fund. This will be an exciting project, please join us.

Harel Shachal and Anistar
Ary Lima and his Capoeira masters
Tommy Mandel (keyboard player for Bryan Adams, Dire Straits among others)
Glenn Tamir (Klezska)
Calvin Christy (from Kingston, Jamaica)
Plus many others who come every year – Hope you can make it back.

Blessings to all,
Glenn Tamir
