Zhok Therapy, Brunswick, ME, Mar 24

Zhok Therapy, the rebellious child of the Casco Bay Tummlers, will be returning to the Little Dog Coffee Shop, 87 Maine St. in Brunswick, Friday, March 24. We'll be playing from 7:00 - 9:00.

We'll be back with pieces highlighting the improvisational skills of the band. Our inspiration for this will be original compositions and traditional Jewish, Roma, Balkan and Middle Eastern melodies. We'll also be doing some of our classic klezmer repertoire. Last month there was quite a bit of dancing going on, too, and we expect that will be the case this time as well.

The lineup for this event is Hayes Porterfield, percussion, Carl Dimow on flutes and guitars, Julie Goell, bass and vocals and Steve Gruverman, clarinet and sax.

There's no cover charge so we hope you'll stop by to enjoy a slightly different side of the band as well as try some of the Little Dog's goodies. And if you don't have a copy of our new CD, Journey, we'll have them for sale.

For more information you can contact the Little Dog at 721-9500.
