History of Yiddish Theatre Course at the Jewish Public Library
Registration is now being accepted for the History of Yiddish Theatre: from the Medieval Purim Shpil to Second Avenue at the Jewish Public Library on Wednesdays, January 23-February 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Cost for 5 sessions: $55 students, $65 Library members, $75 non-members. Taught by Janie Respitz, the course traces the development of Yiddish theatre across changing political and cultural environments.
