A concert of Jewish Choral Music highlighting Spanish, Romani and Arabic influences
On Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 8 pm, Koleinu, The Jewish Community Chorus of Boston, will present a concert of Jewish choral music, featuring a variety of Sephardic music at Temple Shalom, 175 Temple Street, West Newton, MA. Included in the concert are pieces in Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) and Hebrew, many of which show the literary and musical influences of Spanish, Romani, and Arabic cultures.
