For over a decade Toronto's Beyond the Pale has been making its distinctive brand of boundary-busting Eurofolk fusion, mixing Klezmer, Balkan, and Romanian styles with an eclectic range of North American influences, including bluegrass, funk, reggae, jazz and more. Recent winners of 2010 Canadian Folk Music Awards for "Instrumental Ensemble of the Year" and "Pushing the Boundaries," the band returns to the Bay
Area this March for two shows, en route to their first tour in Australia.
