The World Festival of Sacred Music in LA presents:

The Soul of Spain

Gypsy Flamenco meets Sephardic Jewish music
Yuval Ron Ensemble in concert with the Gypsy Flamenco artists

Oscar-winning composer and oud master Yuval Ron leads a fiery evening of music and dance, bringing gypsy flamenco and Sephardic Jewish traditions from Andalusia to Santa Monica and the Westside. The 499-seat Broad comes alive with spinning flamenco dancers, undulating belly dancers, passionate singing, and the lightning-fast fingers of Spanish guitar - a night of musical virtuosity in an intimate setting. Featuring gypsy flamenco singer Jesus Montoya, dancer Briseyda Zarate, guitarist Jose Tanaka and the Yuval Ron Ensemble:

Maya Haddi: vocals; Norik Manoukian: woodwind; Jamie Papish: percussion; David Martinelly: percussion; Maya K. G: Middle Eastern dance; Yuval Ron: oud and artistic director

with a video created by Moshe Hacmon.
