Bay Area singer/musician/bandleader Gerry Tenney celebrates International Workers Day with a May 1 performance leading his Hard Times Orchestra. Monologist Josh Kornbluth (“Red Diaper Baby”) also performs. Michael Alpert, a leader of the klezmer revival, is expected to drop by to sing a Yiddish rendition of the workers’ anthem “The International.”
