di bostoner klezmer Thursday, Jul 31, 2014, 6:30pm Payson Park 260 Payson Rd, Belmont, Massachusetts 02478 FREE We, the summer lineup of dbk - David Harris on tuba, Michael McLaughlin on accordion, and Dena Ressler on clarinet - will be playing a 45 minute set at the Payson Park Music Festival in Belmont, MA We'll play some little-heard Kabolas Shabos tunes, some Emil Kroiter Moldavan klezmer, a tuba doyne and you'll learn a Lubavich nign. The park is located on Payson Road, off Trapelo Road (on the #73 bus line out of Harvard Square, too). Parking is easy. Bring lawn chairs, food, dancing shoes.... We are followed by a concert band.
