French vocalist and violinist Eleonore Biezunski, together with accordionist Patrick Farrell and double-bass player Jordan Morton, presents Yiddish music that speaks to the present time -some revived from Yiddish folklore collections, some by contemporary Yiddish songwriters- as well as songs from popular Paris. They tell short stories from a great history of lived experiences, of battles fought and of hopes for the future.
