Lula Lounge and Open City celebrate Lula's seventh anniversary with a twelve-night festival that unites Cuban, Brazilian and African Reggae with Jazz, Sicilian, Indian Rumba Flamenca, Hindustani raag and MPB. The festival brings local artists together with international and Canadian talent from across the country.
We are pleased to announce that Odessa/Havana will once again be a part of the the Lulaworld Festival! After taking some time off this winter, during which time some new music was written, the band roared back with a great concert in Hamilton last month. Along with regulars Alex Gajic, Rick Shadrach Lazar, Max Senitt and Paco Luviano, we'll be joined by special guests Dave Restivo (piano) and Perry White (saxophones)
Lula Lounge is one of our favourite venues on the planet and certainly takes top honours as a treasure of our great city. A night at Lula is a guaranteed good time, with quality music, good food and an ambienced that is unmatched in our opinion.
